Homemade Vegan Beaver Tails with Almond Butter and Healthy Nutella Drizzle

A vegan twist on the classic Canadian treat, these homemade beaver tails are made with a soft, pillowy dough and topped with creamy almond butter and a decadent drizzle of healthy Nutella. Perfect for a cozy dessert or special treat

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 cup almond milk
  • 2 tbsp vegan butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • Almond butter, for spreading
  • Healthy Nutella vegan hazelnut spread, for drizzling
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting

Instructions:

In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt

Add almond milk, melted vegan butter, and vanilla extract

Mix until a smooth dough forms

Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each into a flat oval shape

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat

Carefully transfer one dough oval onto the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through

Repeat with the remaining dough ovals

Once cooked, spread almond butter generously over each beaver tail

Drizzle healthy Nutella over the almond butter

Dust with powdered sugar before serving
