Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground venison
- 1/2 cup fresh blueberries
- 4 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup minced onion
- 1/4 cup mayonnaise
- 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 4 burger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and red onion for toppings
- 4 slices of Swiss cheese optional
Instructions:
Cook bacon until crispy, then crumble it into small pieces
In a bowl, combine ground venison, blueberries, crumbled bacon, breadcrumbs, minced onion, mayonnaise, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Mix well
Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape them into burger patties
Preheat your grill or stovetop pan over medium-high heat
Cook the venison burgers for about 4-5 minutes per side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness
If using cheese, add a slice to each burger during the last minute of cooking
Toast the burger buns on the grill or in a toaster until lightly browned
Assemble your burgers by placing lettuce, tomato, and red onion on the bottom bun, then adding the cooked venison burger with or without cheese, and finally, the top bun
